Düsseldorf, Hannover, 6 October 2025 Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate, has signed a lease for 27,288 square meters in south-east Hannover with the Fiege Group, one of Europe's leading logistics service providers. This is already the seventh lease Prologis has signed in the Hannover submarket this year with various customers – bringing the total to approximately 128,600 square meters.

Recent agreements include well-known industrial and retail companies as well as the logistics service provider Fiege. The transactions underline that Hannover remains a relevant logistics location despite an overall weaker market. Following Bremen and Cologne, Hannover has now become another submarket that Prologis has strengthened and positioned for the future through successful leasing activity.

“With seven new lease agreements in Hannover, we have sent a clear signal: even in a challenging market environment, logistics space in prime locations remains indispensable,” said Volker Schönfeld, VP Head of Leasing Germany at Prologis. “At the same time, it shows how important our pan-European network is: it provides our customers with flexibility and reach – a decisive factor for resilient supply chains.

Hannover is a central transport hub with proximity to numerous urban centers: the city sits at the intersection of the A2 and A7 motorways, has a dense rail network and offers short connections to North Sea ports. For companies, this means fast links in all directions and reliable conditions for efficient supply chains.
