Corporate News
Prologis has published its activities for the second quarter of 2023 in Europe, including operating performance highlights and insights into select milestones and achievements.
“Our European portfolio continues to be in high demand with an occupancy rate of 98.2% and rent growth of over 26% across the 12 markets where we operate,” says Ben Bannatyne, President, Prologis Europe. “Due to our scale and size, we continue to support our customers on their decarbonisation journey with solutions from our Essentials platform, such as solar and storage, to fleet electrification and workplace charging, allowing them to focus on growing their business. These opportunities and our robust landbank provide continued long-term growth.”
“In our Region Northern Europe with Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden, the occupancy rate of 99.6 per cent is also evidence of excellent demand,” adds Björn Thiemann, senior vice president, regional head Northern Europe. “In Germany and the Netherlands, we recorded several large-scale leases in the past quarter, including one in Hamburg. In order to be able to advise our customers in Northern Europe even better on smart energy solutions in the future and to better equip them with these solutions, we are currently strengthening our teams with additional energy experts.”
