Anja Giesen

Vice President, Head of Legal, Northern Europe

Anja Giesen is vice president, legal counsel Northern Europe at Prologis. Since July 2019, she has worked in the Prologis legal department and is responsible for legal matters in the Northern Europe region.

Her work at Prologis is multifaceted: Giesen advises and supports the capital deployment team in the acquisition and sale of logistics facilities, land or real estate companies. In addition, she advises the project management and leasing team about project development, ending general contractor agreements and negotiating lease agreements for build-to-suit projects and existing facilities. She also supports the property management team in all matters relating to facility management.

Giesen has 14 years of experience in real estate business law and specializes in transactions. Before joining Prologis, she worked for the global law firms White & Case LLP in Frankfurt and Mayer Brown LLP in Düsseldorf.

Giesen studied in Bonn, completed her legal clerkship in Düsseldorf and Montréal, and passed the second state examination in 2005. She holds a master of laws (LL.M.) in real estate law.
