Close to the customer: At the beginning of the second quarter of 2021, Prologis will open offices in Munich and Hamburg – in addition to the two already existing offices in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt am Main. The new offices enable the Prologis employees in Germany to work more closely with customers and brokers. The offices are designed to accommodate approximately 10 employees from all business areas, including facility management, construction operation management, real estate and customer experience management, leasing and capital deployment.
“Northern Germany and Southern Germany, along with the Rhine-Ruhr area, are among the regions where we are very active and have the most clients,” says Björn Thiemann, senior vice president, country manager Germany, Prologis. “The new offices in the metropolitan areas of Hamburg and Munich give us the opportunity to be personally available to these customers even faster. We are planning to grow further in Germany – that is why it is helpful for our team to intensify contacts with the municipalities in the various regions and to be directly 'where the action is'.” In addition, the proximity to the brokers at both locations will help Prologis to further expand the portfolio in order to meet the demand of the existing and potential new customers even better.
The office in Munich offers 303 square meters, and the space in Hamburg is approximately 270 square meters. The Munich office is close to the city center in Parkstadt Schwabing and near the A9 motorway. The Hamburg office is on the western edge of the port, by the Hamburg fish market, and close to the Prologis logistics parks in the districts of Steinwerder, Waltershof and Altenwerder.
