Prologis welcomes Michael Nolte as the new director, head of project management Germany, where he focuses primarily on customer needs. Since January 2021, he has been in charge of budgeting and the conception, development and implementation of warehouse equipment projects for customers. His responsibilities also include preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts; drafting contracts; and negotiating property sales, leases and service provider agreements.
“Michael Nolte has been working in the construction and real estate industry for almost 20 years. This speaks for an extensive expertise,” said Björn Thiemann, senior vice President, country manager Germany, Prologis. “With him, we have gained an experienced employee with comprehensive competencies who is up to the challenges of the market and will make the right decisions for our customers and our company.”
After completing an apprenticeship as an architectural draftsman at Strabag, Michael Nolte studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. During his time at Strabag International, he became familiar with all aspects of the construction process—from planning coordination to budgets and construction management. He is a member of the Ingenieurkammer-Bau Nordrhein-Westfalen (Chamber of Civil Engineers of North Rhine-Westphalia) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Before joining Prologis, Michael Nolte was self-employed as a real estate consultant in Düsseldorf. Prior to that, he was an authorized signatory, responsible for project development and asset management at the German branch of a Dutch family office specializing in real estate in Aachen. At GOLDBECK West in Monheim am Rhein, he worked as a sales engineer in the office division.
“I am looking forward to working together and sharing experiences with my team and the many joint projects we implement for our customers individually,” said Michael Nolte. “Prologis as an international company gives me insights into very different markets. The exchange with colleagues across national borders allows us to offer our customers modern logistics facilities of the highest standard.”
