For our customer, who needed logistics space on short notice, we were able to provide a flexible solution, ideally located and with quick availability which allowed the customer to move in and start up their business smoothly.
The logistics service provider signed a new lease for a property unit with 15,400 square meters at Prologis Park Hamburg-Altenwerder. “Our team was flexible when it came to the timeline – only eight weeks passed between first inspection and signing of the contract”, says Julian Kux, leasing and customer experience manager Prologis.
Since the customer has moved in, Prologis Park Hamburg-Altenwerder is almost fully leased with only one unit of around 8,000 square meters still available. The logistics park consists of two logistics facilities with six units and a total area of approximately 85,600 square meters.
Direct proximity to the A7 motorway and the Port of Hamburg make the location a significant logistics hub in northern Germany. The Altenwerder container terminal is only 500 meters away. Hamburg Airport and the A1 motorway can also be reached quickly. In addition to regional sales markets, the Hamburg metropolitan region offers businesses a large pool of qualified labor.
