Prologis has acquired a 12,334 square meter logistics facility in Rosersberg near Stockholm. The building has been leased for the long term to Steelwrist AB. The Swedish company is the world’s fastest growing manufacturer of tiltrotators and quick couplers and has outgrown its existing production facility. Due to the large size of their products and their efficient service, which is one of the company’s core values, Steelwrist had specific requirements for the new logistics facility. With the property in Rosersberg, we were able to meet these requirements and are happy to welcome Steelwrist as our new customer.
The facility in the Rosersberg logistics hub is located close to Arlanda, Stockholm and other important logistics hotspots. For Steelwrist, the global presence of Prologis is an advantage, as the company aims to be the “best in the world to develop, manufacture and sell equipment that increases efficiency of excavators”.
The acquisition of the property in Rosersberg is in line with our growth strategy in the Swedish market, with special focus on the Stockholm region. Prologis also owns the Prologis Park Arlanda near Stockholm. The park comprises three buildings with a total area of approximately 60,000 square meters with additional land available for further construction.
Since we entered the Swedish market in 2002, we have developed logistics facilities with a total area of 483,000 square meters. Our customers are active in manufacturing, retail, transportation, third party logistics and other sectors with large-scale distribution needs.
