Sophie Van Oosterom, CEO of CBRE Global Investors’ EMEA Region
Sophie Van Oosterom is based at Schiphol and has overall responsibility for management of the region. In addition, Mrs. Van Oosterom is also CIO for EMEA and Head of Special Programs. In these roles she focuses on investment performance in the region and is responsible for investment strategy, underwriting and product development. Mrs. Van Oosterom is a member of the Global Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee, European Executive Committee and chairs the European Investment Committee.
Mrs. Van Oosterom joined CBRE Global Investors in 2013 as Head of Special Programs with leadership of investor strategy, repositioning and redefining strategies to optimize value for the investors for the various special program funds. Mrs. Van Oosterom began her real estate and finance career in 1997. Before joining CBRE Global Investors she was a Managing Director and European Head of Asset Management of the Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners private equity funds (now Silverpeak Real Estate Partners) with around $20 billion of assets under management at its peak. In this capacity, she was a member of the board of a large number of real estate companies throughout Europe, where she helped define strategy, financial structuring and value creation across all real estate asset classes. Mrs. Van Oosterom earned Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. She is an honorary citizen of Marseille (France).
Dr. Alexandra Krystalogianni, Global Head of Research, Allianz Real Estate GmbH
Dr. Alexandra Krystalogianni is Global Head of Research of Allianz Real Estate, with over seventeen years of experience in commercial real estate research and investment. She joined Allianz Real Estate in February 2012 and is responsible for managing the global research function, developing the house view regarding global property market prospects and playing a key role in the development of Allianz Real Estate´s investment strategies. Prior to joining Allianz Real Estate Dr. Krystalogianni served as Head of International Property Forecasting with Schroders over six years, and prior to that as senior investment research analyst/economist in major property consultancies based in London.
Dr. Krystalogianni holds a PhD in Economics and MA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Reading, and BSc (Hons) in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a member of many professional and academic organisations, including Editorial Board member of the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and the Journal of European Real Estate Research, past Chair of the INREV Research Committee, member of the ICSC European Research Group and ULI.
Nick Preston, Fund Manager for Tritax EuroBox plc
Nick is the Fund Manager for Tritax EuroBox plc, the recently launched investment trust dedicated to Continental European logistics real estate. He has extensive experience of managing portfolios of commercial real estate across the UK and Continental Europe. Prior to joining the Tritax Group in September 2017, he worked for Grosvenor Europe in the positions of Managing Director (Europe) and Head of Portfolio.
Prior to this, he held the position of senior director at CBRE Global Investors, with responsibility for the management of a wide range of portfolios, including separate accounts, pooled funds and fund of funds’ portfolios. He acted on behalf of a major US public pension scheme on a pan-European mandate to invest in logistics assets in a joint venture with First Industrial Realty Trust.
Tom Waite, Regional Director – EMEA Logistics & Industrial Capital Markets
Tom is responsible for logistics and industrial capital markets across Europe for JLL and has over 12 years’ experience in the sector. Tom is based in the EMEA Capital markets team in London and co-ordinates JLL’s logistics and industrial capital markets network across the Europe.
He specialises in advising a range of clients on the acquisition, disposal, funding and development of logistics real estate, most recently with a focus on large single country transactions, cross-border portfolios and joint ventures. Tom joined JLL in 2011 following the King Sturge merger, where he worked in the European Investment team specialising in the logistics sector.

Ben Bannatyne, President, Prologis Europe
Ben Bannatyne is President of Prologis Europe and Chairman of the company's European Management Executive Committee. He is responsible for Europe's largest logistics real estate platform, which comprises 17 million square metres across 12 countries as of 30 June 2018.
Previously, Ben served as the company's Managing Director and Regional Head for Central & Eastern Europe - a role which he held for more than seven years - with overall responsibility for the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
Ben joined Prologis in 2008 from JLL where he was managing director for Central Europe. An accomplished leader, Ben brings significant real estate knowledge and expertise with more than 20 years' experience. Ben graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, with a degree in Land Economy (BLE). He is also a UK trained Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
Dirk Sosef, Vice President, Research & Strategy Europe, Prologis
Dirk Sosef is Vice President, Research and Strategy for Prologis in Europe. He is responsible for overseeing all research and strategy initiatives as they relate to the European business.
This includes, among others, analyzing market conditions and understanding the factors which drive logistics property performance and occupancy trends. Specialisms include e-commerce and logistics locations.
Before joining Prologis in 2011, Dirk was head of research for Cushman & Wakefield where he worked for almost six years conducting various research studies in commercial real estate. Dirk is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds a Bachelor in Real Estate studies from the University of Applied Sciences (Fontys) in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
