Björn Thiemann

Björn Thiemann is senior vice president, regional head Northern Europe. He took over this role on January 1, 2023, leading all operations and development activities in Northern Europe. This includes Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Nordic countries. Björn Thiemann works closely with the local teams, especially in the area of capital deployment.

Björn Thiemann joined Prologis in July 2020 as country manager Germany. Prior to joining Prologis, he worked for seven years as head of fund management Europe/Global at Union Investment Real Estate in Hamburg, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the open-ended UniImmo:Europa and UniImmo:Global real estate funds. Before that, he held the position of head of fund management Europe at Deka Immobilien Investment in Frankfurt for five years. Björn Thiemann holds a degree in business administration as well as a degree in real estate economics.
